Privacy Policy

VeriWasp ("VeriWasp," "we," "us") is operated by Will Ballentine, an individual based in Kentucky, USA. This policy explains what data VeriWasp collects when you use the service at veriwasp.com, why, and what choices you have about it.

What we collect

• Account information. Your email address, used to sign you in (magic link) and to send billing and product email. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from that provider. We never see or store your password with either provider.
• Playtest content. The URLs you submit for testing, the flows you write or that our AI drafts, and the results of running them: screenshots, DOM snapshots, network activity, and console output captured from the site under test. This content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API so it can plan, execute, and evaluate the test. See "AI processing" below.
• Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. VeriWasp does not receive or store your card number. Stripe handles that directly and shares back only what we need to manage your subscription and credits (plan, credit balance, payment status).
• Usage and request logs. Like most web services, we log requests to our servers, including the page requested, HTTP status, IP address, user agent, and timestamp, for security, abuse prevention, and understanding product usage. These logs are retained for 60 days and then deleted automatically.
• Cookies. A session cookie keeps you signed in. A small number of short-lived cookies (1 day or less) remember the URL you were about to test across sign-up, so your first playtest can be pre-filled. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

AI processing

VeriWasp's core feature, AI-driven playtesting, works by sending the content of the site you're testing (and the flow you describe) to Anthropic's Claude API, which plans test steps, drives a browser, and judges whether each step passed. Anthropic processes this data to return a result to VeriWasp; VeriWasp's own prompts are built to treat content from the site under test as untrusted input, not as instructions. Who else sees your data

We share data with the vendors that make VeriWasp work, and nobody else:

• Anthropic: runs the AI that plans and evaluates your playtests.
• Stripe: processes payments and manages your subscription.
• Resend: delivers transactional email (magic links, receipts, reports).
• Fly.io: hosts our servers and database.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

International visitors

VeriWasp's servers are located in the United States. If you're visiting from the EU, UK, or elsewhere outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. If you're in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to how it's processed. Contact us using the details below to exercise any of these.

How long we keep data

Account and playtest data is kept for as long as your account is active. Request logs are kept for 60 days. If you delete your account, we delete your account data; some records may be retained briefly where we're required to for billing, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Your choices

You can update your account details from the Account page at any time. To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account, email support@veriwasp.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.

Children

VeriWasp is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of VeriWasp after a change means you accept the updated policy.
